Why am I so stupid?

So, a second dragon came to attack Riverwood. Unlike the first dragon, this dragon's name was 'dragon.' I shot it a few times, but the majority of it's injury was from the guards. Anyway, it had dragon bones and dragon scales. What's this? In Dragon Age: Origins, this material was for giving to a smith so they can make you armor. I brought them to Eorlund Grey-Mane, the bearded man up in the Sky Forge. There was not option to give him the material.

What are these bones and scales for then, trophies? They are heavy and burdening me from looting.

For some odd reason we as in the players can only make dragon armor!

Take up smithing if you want to make that eventually...

Thanks guys. My Nord woman is a poisoner and will never reach 100 smithing, even though her last name is probably Smith. Those materials will be converted to money.
