Why was Nazeems farm takin out of the game?

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 2:29 am

I noticed Nazeem says he has a farm and all that. He even has a key on him to it. He has a key to a farm that doesn't even exist. I wish the devs Wouk of kept it in. I wonder why it was takin out.

Well I guess I'm just assuming. But Nazeem has a key to a farm. Can't remember the name. But that farm is found nowhere in the game.

The farm he always talks about is in the game. It's Chillfurrow Farm, just outside of Whiterun. It's true that he never visits it, but he's still the owner.

However, he carries a key to Wintersand Manor - that's a building that indeed didn't make it into the game. I guess we'll never know why.

It never existed. Nazeem just made it up because he's a jerk. He wants everybody to think he's all that and lives in a mansion, when in truth he's just a sad, pathetic little man. Why do you think he spends his time wandering around town asking people if they get to the Cloud District instead of actually hanging out at the Cloud District...?

So he took a random key and labeled it 'Wintersand Manor' so that everyone could see? Clever. Very clever. Maybe the story about Chillfurrow Farm was made up, too - he's never there after all...

I don't know, Bethesda does this some times. I remember in Fallout 3, there were a couple of doors that required keys to open them, but the keys did not exist, and nothing was on the other end of the door.

Most likely cut content that wasn't fully cut or the key itself was supposed to open up a different building but was named wrong.

Either way, Nazeem is a bum and I blew his brains out with the strongest spell I got.

Well, according to the wiki site he does as a matter of fact own Chillfurrow Farm, but he doesn't travel there due to a bug.

'Wintersand Manor' is probably supposed to be located in another province than Skyrim if it's not left out unintentionally.

However:
"I actually advise the Jarl on political matters. My input is invaluable, of course. But this is all probably a bit over your head."
This makes him a blatant liar.

Nazeem is the one person in Whiterun I actually consider worth wasting my status as Thane of Whiterun on (guards will overlook a crime once) if you strike him down publically. Or, if you've joined The Dark Brotherhood you might want to make him your own justified homicide, so to speak.

There is always the hope of imagination becoming reality,
In this case, it becomes annoying and makes the guy a jerk

True, but I don't suspect anybody in here are talking about this NPC for anything else than laughs. I know I don't.

I hate that guy. My main character right now cast a Frenzy on him. She kept doing it (from a safe distance) until he committed virtual suicide getting killed by several guards and townspeople. She wound up getting a bounty, but having that particular snotty NPC dead was a huge relief to me.
