Why did your current/main character end up at the headsman's block? Why were you in rags and why did they capture you?

My bosmer assassin was escaping from Cyrodiil (because he failed at killing the wrong kind of person). He decided to start all over in Skyrim; thought the civil war might provide some good opportunitues, so he crossed the border disguised as a beggar, and brought some valuable items with him in a sack. He met the imperials who just had captured the horse thief, Ulfric & co near Darkwater crossing and had a short break. He stopped to chat and joke with the soldiers, to get some information, but the captain was suspicious and asked what was in his sack. He said it was just some food and stuff he'd try to sell, but the captain forced him to open it. And of course, a regular beggar wouldn't be carrying a sack full of weapons, poisons, fine clothes, jewelry and gold. That's why they caught him. (When the captain reported to Tullius, Tullius was like "yeah, whatever, keep him", because he was discussing Ulfric with the Thalmor and didn't really listen.)

He was tracking the last of a group of cultists he used to belong to who murdered his parents.

In tracking the final member of the worshippers, it brought him back to Skyrim. He heard tales of a Daedra worshipper entering tombs and performing vile Necromancy acts upon Skyrim's long gone ancestors.

While travelling to Whiterun, where the worshipper had been rumoured to have been spotted, he came upon an old woman who had been beaten black and blue on the side of the road near the Skyrim border. She was dead.

At that moment, guards came by and caught Raziel with the corpse. Suspecting him of murder, and without any witnesses, he was thrown into a prison.

Picked up by the soldiers for riding a horse while intoxicated.

RUI's are pretty serious in Skyrim.

my character was at helgan becoues she hand no choise it is how the game starts

i play an Imperial with an epic back story. he's an Imperial ex-soldier skilled in mounted combat, archery, hand to hand, 1h and shield. tired of the wars in which he distinguished himself highly he tried to retire. but the Empire had use of his skills once more. he worked extensively behind enemy lines during the Altmeri Wars and the Empire was in need someone who could get in quietly, observe, reporting back to the Empire as needed. he was to be sent to Skyrim to see just what was going on. all was not right and the reports were few and far in between. also if war came again the Nords would be needed again. whether as Imperial subjects or as Independent allies depending on if this rebellion could be put down. he was about to cross the border but he had to meet a contact along the way. when he found them they had been killed...murdered...the soldiers found him over the high-ranking individual and jumping to conclusions rounded him up. he didn't want to fight his countrymen but couldn't divulge his presence as Tulius or others had no knowledge of his intentions...embarrasing the Empire was out of the question and plausible deniability was in place. rounded up, he was knocked unconscious and came to in the wagon with Ulfric...branded as a common murderer he then was transported to Helgen for immediate exsicution...then came the dragon...his story begins from there...

In addition to being a drunk and repeat RUI offender, my Nord is a card-carrying racist and hates all othe races. I go out of my way to slaughter Kahjitt merchants after I've had my way with their wallet/gear.

My current character Salessi Darkwater (see avatar for pic of her) is an imperial from Cyrodiil. She was going down a dark path that almost killed her so she fled to save her live and try again in Skyrim. Seemed like a good place to hide and change who she was. She fell in with hunters, never staying in one place to long. She got to visit villages, get to know Skyrim and its people. No one cared about her past and she liked it that way. She was able to forget.

Well one day while out hunting with her bow she heard noises in the bushes. Thinking it was an elk or something she stalked it. Turns out it was an Imperial Soldier, one of many in fact. They both startled eachother and she almost shot him with the arrow before being clubbed in the back of the head.

She woke up next to Ulfric and Ralof on the wagon. Probably couldn't have woken up next to two better men in her opinion.
