Why would they do this to us

Post » Thu May 17, 2012 6:08 pm

im surprised we are still on the bethesda sight has no one filed a lawsuit like they sold us a half finished product thats like going to macdonalds and buying a big mac and getting beef that isnt finshed being cooked what is not right nor legal jus makes me sick knowing every time i play this game its guarenteed disappointment and frustration so i pretty much spent 59.99(67.83) on this POS to get a daily brain anuirism like comon bethesda step your game up n fix you POS game you put on shelves worldwide and rip off fans you say you care soooo much about well you are losing many fans daily and ive almost had enough i dont want my money back but im most likely gonna snap the disc in half if its not fixed becuse it would prolly work better snaped thenn it does now

They don't owe you anything. It's business. Crappy business, I tell you. But that's how it works. We get deceived everytime. We never took the pledge to buy every of their games, they just make their games look so appealing and bait us like fish. We keep biting and we keep getting low blows where it hurts. Marketing sure is an evil thing.

I get that you are upset- I am too...but can you honestly expect anybody to take you seriously when you write something jumbled and incoherent like that? Write legible sentences and spellcheck to garner proper respect and attention.

No... They owe us everything! :stare:

We... We trusted them, believed in them, gave our money to them, in hopes that they'd provide us with a great adventure (although they kinda did do that, before the bugs became gamebreaking). They raised our hopes, only to crush them into small little tiny specks of miniature baby dust.

Indeed. It's the infamous 'Release now, patch later'-attitude. They had pinned themselves on the iconic 11-11-11 date and absolutely wanted to get the game released then, no matter the state. So they turned up the hype, talked about all the great things there would be to experience and kept silent about the rest (no way I believe they didn't know there were issues). And we gamers bought it hook, line and sinker.
Of course eventually things will be fixed but that is of little consolation to the gamers who bought their game NOW and want to enjoy it NOW.
This really should be made illegal. Gamers are the victims here; even if Bethesda can't/won't fix things; they already have your money.

Last time I fell for it...

I HATE BETHESDA, I freeze at least 3-4 time an hour after the last update and honestly im just going to buy this game for my laptop so at least some competent independent coder can fix the pc bugs, Bethesda is officially the WORST ps3 game maker compared to every other company. Honestly they knew they were too incompetent to port this game to ps3 they were just too much of a [censored] to say hey why dont we just get a competent company to port this game to the ps3, OH THATS RIGHT WE'RE MONEY HUNGRY. Rant complete.

You hate Bethesda yet you want to give them even more of your money? Some folks at Bethesda no doubt like to hear that: "Oh great, if we make a crappy port people just will buy it a second time".

I wish an independent trade body and maybe a senator would get involved in this. Let's face it, our voices aren't enough.

They owe everyone that bought Skyrim a functional game. This really shouldn't be an unreasonable expectation. If people keep letting companies like Bethesda get away with delivering shoddy products that don't fully work as advertised than consumer rights will continue to seep down the toilet.

Look at the sale numbers, they are going down rapidly. Plus if all of us would just have the courage not to buy their next game (I bet the next Fallout will run on the same engine), then our voice (money) would have a massive impact!

Best advice to give on the matter. If people took the hint and stopped buying it they would work harder on ignoring silly release dates and make sure a decent product was delivered.

If Beth can not program for ps3 properly or just do not care about the platform then please stop making it for that platform.Make it pc and or xbox exclusive and be done with it.

Yep, only business matters... *vomits* I'm not convinced that things will be fixed by the end of this month. Hopefully, they'll reduce the lag problem a bunch by Christmas.
