They don't owe you anything. It's business. Crappy business, I tell you. But that's how it works. We get deceived everytime. We never took the pledge to buy every of their games, they just make their games look so appealing and bait us like fish. We keep biting and we keep getting low blows where it hurts. Marketing sure is an evil thing.
Indeed. It's the infamous 'Release now, patch later'-attitude. They had pinned themselves on the iconic 11-11-11 date and absolutely wanted to get the game released then, no matter the state. So they turned up the hype, talked about all the great things there would be to experience and kept silent about the rest (no way I believe they didn't know there were issues). And we gamers bought it hook, line and sinker.
Of course eventually things will be fixed but that is of little consolation to the gamers who bought their game NOW and want to enjoy it NOW.
This really should be made illegal. Gamers are the victims here; even if Bethesda can't/won't fix things; they already have your money.
Last time I fell for it...
