Seeing the amount of cheaters on the servers, I'm guessing that there is also a lot of cheaters on this forum.
So here is my question to you, why do you cheat? what do you get out of it?

As I see it, you remove everything fun about the game, the whole reason to have the game (whether you bought is or downloaded it illegal), the tactical challenges in the game, the excitement of unlocking new modules, weapons and attachments, the rush when you play against an even team and winning.
You just hold down the fire button and then everybody dies... How is that fun? I'd give it 5 minutes before I'd get bored as hell.
And when you reach lvl 50 and have all modules, all weapons, all attachments and all dog tags, then what? you don't get any recognition for beeing in the top of the leaderboards cause everbody can see you've cheated.
What's fun about having unlocked everything when you still svck? You can't aim, your reflexes svck, you don't have that game, weapon and map familiarization, to just throw a random grenade and killing 2 people cause you know that's where people usually camps or know where to look when you go around a corner so you kill the camper before he kills you.
You just sit and fire your weapon and win nothing cause you've already unlocked it...

Cheaters cheat cuz they want others to start flaming on them. Thats their intention... getting flamed while you're untouchable is just so much fun.

So you're saying it's fun that everyone is calling you a noob, cheater and so on?
It pisses me off when people call me a cheater in MW2 just because I'm better than them, they don't even bother to look at the killcam...

They just got a attention problem. Someone who's cheating is focused by everyone on the server and the cheater gets his beloved attention.

So here is my question to you, why do you cheat? what do you get out of it?
My best bet for a reason why there's so many cheaters is this whole multiplayer ranking system. Some peeps just can't earn things by themselves - they need to get it ASAP and want to joy all the equipment... so they cheat.

Pathetic but looks like Crytek fallen a victim of it's own system.

i saw a cheating scumbag today. i asked him why he does it he sayd :" Because the game ahs no anti-cheat protection"

i sked him what his K/D ratio was WITHOUT CHEATS... not supprisingly it was a crappy 1.2 ! i laughed at him and reminded him he is a fail

They do it for numerous reasons.

Some do it for attention; these people are ignored by their family and usually have very few or no friends. Think of these as those bratty kids who smash things, cry in public, etc because their parents ignore them.

Some do it because they are angry;they get beat up at school, etc and feel like they are getting revenge for it.

Some do it because they dont like being owned online; they play the game legit from the start. Get owned by a few good players and convince themselves they were hacking so then they think they will do it too since everybody else is doing it.

And just recently I encounted a cheater, V.Primo who was having an amusing conversation in-game with another player. He hacked his game so that he got kill streak bonuses at 1, 2 and 3 kills. The other player was harrassing him the majority of 2 games. V.Primo was claiming it wasnt a hack it was just a mod and was legit. These are the saddest kind of cheaters in my opinion. This guy actually believed he wasnt cheating.
