Wife Ria wont move after adopting..

I have enjoyed hearthfire thus far. Only real glitch was freezing in Lakeside with an armory and greenhouse. Problem was resolved by removing the workbenches. My character purchased all 3 homes, and as Harbinger/Arch-Mage only rolls with females that he is close to.

Lydia - Housecarl/Steward of Windstad Manor
Eola - Steward of Hjerim Hall
Ingyiard/Dawwnguard - Steward of Lakeside
Jordis - Housecarl (remained at Solitude)

Ria - Wife (Queen Bee) / Lived with Eola /Hjerim Hall

Ria used to live at Solitude with Jordis, prior to installing Hearthfire. I moved her to Hjerim Hall after installation and she was fine, but I know she always liked the Solitude home. Once I finally decided to adopt the girl fm Whiterun, I decided to move them both to Solitude. The adopted girl relocated fine and Jordis is there. Ria was following me at the time I asked her to move, and we were in Solitude home when I asked her to move there. She said ok, and exited the house. I found her back in Jorvaskr in her bed. Again, I asked her to move to Solitude, and she said ok. Then she got back in the bed. Asked her several times, and also asked her to move to the other homes. Each time she says ok, and then never moves there. If I make her follow, when we are in Solitude she has all the right dialog. She says the child is fine; loves the home and Solitude because it is so diverse. If I dismiss her, she then heads out the door and back to Jorvaskr. I am guessing this is a known glitch. Has anyone else encountered it with another spouse, or aware of a workaround? This is totally unacceptable for a devout RiaMancer such as my character.

Interesting no one else experienced or has a resolution. In my case, the problem was resolved with sheer determination... perhaps luck. I continued to ask Ria to move and she continued to agree while remaining or returning to Jorvaskr. Finally I cornered her near her bed in Jorvaskr and asked her to follow. Led her through the door to the upstairs of Jorvaskr and then dismissed her. Then I asked her to move to Solitude. She agreed, then stalled/hesitated. I was blocking the path back through the door to her bed. She stood there for a few minutes, then finally turned around and headed outside. I followed her from a distance and watched her exit Whiterun. When I finally got to Solitude, the adopted child greeted me at the door and said "mommy took me to the market today". As I went upstairs, Ria was cooking in the kitchen, and welcomed me home. My character is relieved to have her back home where she belongs.... although he hasnt asked her to follow him on another quest yet. Hopefully the setting will remain, since he enjoys being married to her, as well as questing with her.

I have yet to attempt relocating anyone, so I cannot suggest any fixes. Bump for you though :(

Thanks for the kind bump Elrick. I was finally able to relocate Ria from Hjerim Hall to Solitude after adopting through the trial and error method stated above. I have not quested with her yet, since her return but if that she resets to Jorvaskr again, then I would have to reload a prior save, and just retire her as a wealthy trophy wife in Solitude. She has worked hard, is a great wife, and deserves it.

When I build a home, After adding all three wings and adding beds I immediatly went and adopted a kid, Shortly before that I had turned my wife into a vampire and left that house while she went to sleep (Hjerim), I couldent find her for about a Week ingame, and then she randomly showed up at my new house.

It bothers me because idk if shes going to let me move her into my new home when I build it, well, ill know in a hour or two.

Btw Ria is actually my housecarl, she seems to be bugless at the moment.

Seems theres tons of random glitches with this DLC.
