Found a spot today for easy treasure, NOT marked on the map. SW corner of Whiterun Hold. Out in a field. The whale/hawk/snake game and a trap door. Below was a chest with some sweet gold, and strong potion, and an enchanted weapon.

SSW of Ft. Greymoor and NW of North Brittleshin Pass. It reminded me of a chest I used to hit in Oblivion. Out in the woods, under a tree on a slope there was a chest next to a trap door that led down a ladder to an urn or something.... used to hit that every week or so for gauanteed enchanted loot.

Hopefully this place will be the same.

Check your inventory for a treasure map, may only be that, or a merchant's chest.

It only had three items in it. Would that constitute a Treasure Chest??
