Will it come to Ps4?

Post » Thu Jun 06, 2013 5:21 am

So it has been a question on my mind for quite some time now. I cannot afford a decent gaming PC to play ESO on. However if it comes to Ps4 i will definitely Buy it straight away. I have not been able to find much about this topic so that's why I am putting it here. Please help me on this one.

Plans are for it to be PC and MC only. No console release planned as yet, and I wouldn't hold your breath either. Though there have been one or two MMOs released on Consoles (DCUO and at least one of the Final Fantasy's) there are a lot of technical and logistical issues that tend to make console MMOs a lot more of a hassle.

Also, bear in mind this game has been in development for five years with the main focus being PC and Mac. The specs for the consoles have only been avaliable this year. It's not possible to develop a game like this without even knowing what the specs are going to be for two potential platforms.

Couldn't be more definite than that:

http://help.elderscrollsonline.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/86/kw/ps4

Will The Elder Scrolls Online be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, or next-generation consoles?

We're currently developing The Elder Scrolls Online for PC and Mac and do not have plans for console support.

OK ok ok.... So, you can afford to but a PS4 when it releases (probably around $500-700), but you can't afford to build, or even buy a premade PC, that will cost around the same amount and run ESO at least on medium settings.

Not sure if trolling or srs.

For him it is probably one or the other. ESO probably comes second to his desire for what will be PS4 exclusives such as killzone.
