Okay, i know that this has probably been posted millions of times, but what is the possibility that fallout 3 mods will work in NV? I'm wondering because i'm thinking of actually paying someone to make a mod for me

Part in bold is not allowed. I do believe it's illegal to profit off of someone elses game which is what accepting payment for a mod is. You giving them money for it makes you complicit.

As for the mods working. No. Not without the work of porting it over. ie: Location mods won;t work, nor will any that add something to the wasteland.

Anything that replaces an exisiting model/texture would probably work, IF the item bears the same item codes.

HOWEVER, Fallout 3 assets CANNOT be ported over to New Vegas, Bethesda has been clear on this in the past. Any assets (Models, textures, audio) will have to be present in New Vegas for the mod to be permitted.

It's illegal? i honestly didn't know that, just forget about that part then. But yea,i know that mods won't work straight away, unless you do something with it so thanks for the information about the new vegas GECK
