Will females have mustaches agian?

Simple question, will the female character have 5 o' clock shadow, and peach fuzz mustaches and what not like in FO3?

If this has already been asked then ignore this.

I never really saw that. Are you sure that they just weren't dirty? Or are you refering to character creation?

No, in certain lighting they had 5 o' clock shadow, especially Moira, it's just something small that bothers me sometimes.

I guess, I don't know it was something that bothered me. Also did they use the same skeleton for males and females?

I don't think character models or textures are being significantly changed, judging from screenshots and such.

I haven't noticed any facial hair on the FO3 women, either, and I'm in the middle of my second playthrough.

Maybe not facial hair, but in different lighting you could see that the color of the skin around the mouth area was brighter than the skin in other parts, making it look weird on female characters. Like if they shaved or something.

It's just bad lighting, and it's still in New Vegas.

I've played hundreds of hours of FO3 on two different PCs and never seen an example of this. Do you have any screenshots for examples?

The Roach King was a female in my last playthrough, and she had no beard. Um, I hate to ask, but I guess I must - you all can tell the difference between boys and girls can't you? You see, you're older now and you've probably started to notice some differences . . . .

I totally went back and started up FO3 when this thread was started, just to see if I had missed something all this time. I'm telling you - the females in my game have perfection complexions and no facial hair or stubble or shadows or suspicious beard lighting. All High settings on a 1680x1050 resolution. I stalked the hell out of the women in Megaton and took way too creepy an interest in the faces of dead raider chicks I shot - and came up with no evidence.

I'm serious. I don't think you all are necessarily lying, but it hasn't been the case in my game (and I have installed the game on two separate PCs). Someone link to some screen shots showing this effect or evidence for it. You may think I'm blind - I think you're seeing things.

So maybe this is just some spiffy, uh, feature, they included just for the Sony crowd? Okay you've forced me to say it - "Pics or it didn't happen". :bolt:

I've always thought some females in F3 has had a 5 o'clock shadow, like the area above their upper lip is a bit darker so it looks like a recently shaved moustache or something. Hm...

Edit: http://www.gamerdna.com/uimage/KJOTF6x/full/moira-brown-3.png. Doesn't the lighting, or whatver it is, making it look like she's got a moustache?

Never seen any hint of facial hair on the female models in Fallout 3, if you're saying in certain lighting conditions they have a shadow on their upper lip as long as the light direction is accurate I'd say thats working as intended and simply a "trick of the light" not something that needs to be fixed so the lighting is artificial.

Yeah, okay. That does look a bit mustache-like. Never seen it in my game though. It does look to be some sort of lighting effect and not something to do with the actual texture though.
