At this point, it seems completely obvious that Dawnguard will have to received some major patching to fix all the game breaking bugs and other glitches that are present. I am worried though that this may be in vain. I was lucky enough not to run into a game breaking glitch, but I have a slew of other problems plaguing my current character. I neglected to make a back up save prior to installing Dawnguard, so if the glitches I have can't be resolved or worse, if they corrupt my save after they are fixed, I may have to start over...

To be clear, I have like 70 hours in this guy I have at the moment. This is the fourth guy I've done this with, the first two were given the axe for glitch reasons as well and the third was one I didn't like quite as well. I don't know if I have a fifth in me. At this point, are these glitches something that, when fixed, we will still be able to use our old saves?

I haven't had an instance yet where a glitch prevented me from playing the game, it was mostly just annoying stuff, but this time has me worried. I would appreciate hearing from people who are more tech savvy than myself to see what they think. I appreciate it!
