I doubt it.

If they're having this issue with DG, then I believe that the same issues will make the PS3 hardware reject HF just the same.

But I'm not in on Bethesda's discussions with Sony, so I can't really say for sure...

If Bethesda can't figure out how to code properly for the PS3, then it'll likely never happen. Again, they've had years to work on it and still fail. So there is little hope they'll figure it out now.

It's possible. Maybe the figured out what went so wrong with DG that they won't make the same mistake with Hearthfire.

One can only hope though. You can just hope they approached Hearthfire a different way then they did DG.

Hearthfire is a smaller DLC, so it may not have the same issues.

If I don't get HF at some point, I will be VERY pissed.

If they figured out what went wrong with DG, it would be here by now.

The mistake is not within the DLC, it's within the ported version itself. It's such a mediocre-at-best port because the game is focused on XBox's capabilities, and not PS3's. Both consoles have their advantages and disadvantages, and that's why ports are almost always bad news, but there are a few companies that get it right now matter what: like Rockstar.

They said that even if they do finish Dawnguard for the PS3, adding other DLCs will just add to the problem of getting DLC to the PS3. So, from my viewpoint, that is them saying:

"Look, even if we give you Dawnguard which will be buggy as anything, any more DLCs will just make it worse."

So... no. I don't believe PS3 will get Hearthfire or any other DLCs.

Kind of rude to even sell it to PS3 with such disadvanteges.. Only won′t we get any DLCs, but the game itself is laggy as hell at some points of view..
I really would like to keep playing Skyrim but It's not worth to buy a Xbox and a new copy of Skyrim :/

I have seen on their twitter that they have multiple teams working on multiple projects so you just might get it on the PS3. In regards to Dawguard a lot of people on these forums don't understand that whether it be DLC or game the coding is different for each console. Just because they're the same game doesn't mean the coding is the same. The xbox version of Dawngard was up to expectations with Bethesda but the PS3 version was not because the coding was different and they didn't like where it was going. Back to hearthfire though; you guys should get this one since it is a small DLC.

They don't have Dawnguard so it wouldn't make sense for them not to get hearthfire. Bethesda can release it without problems if the PS3 users don't have dawnguard.

Once again it has to do with coding. Rockstar, EA, and other game developers have to do the same thing that Bethesda dose.

probobly no, they have problem with Dawnguard even if they relesed it then it will be only because at that moment if they really were working on it then they want to get their money back, so I wouldn't draw my breath on it.
PS3 was from very beggining this relesed it to get quickly large buck use this to fund other projects then forget about anything called ps 3 users

They're still saying TBA, so we can still hope.

I'm actually considering quitting Skyrim until I get Hearthfire, or permanently if I can't. Otherwise, Hearthfire envy will drive me nuts.

I can live without Dawnguard, but I really really really want Hearthfire. I'm been thinking about buting a new PC just for playing Skyrim instead of using the PS3 version (for a number of reasons not related to DLCs, or performance, my game is working fine) - if it turns out PS3 won't get Hearthfire I definitely will.

Well, I don't own an Xbox, and don't plan to. And while I have a PC, I dislike the idea of having to play the game via mouse/keyboard. If it was possible to port the 10 gigs of Skyrim itself for PS3, how hard can Hearthfire's 80 megs be?
