Argonian and Dunmer are the two races where the lack of children makes the least sense. I think that a competent child voice actor could do an Argonian easy enough. And Dunmer sound pretty much like humans. So whatever the problem is with producing non-human younglings, it probably isn't voices.
I'm surprised there aren't even elven children, but maybe that's just a time/hardware limitation problem.
Yeah, they probably have some dumb excuse for not doing elf children like "Well, we didn't do child mer because the way we set up our lore, it really doesn't make sense to do them," or some BS like that. They REALLY don't have an excellent excuse for no beast children, particularly Argonians. And they seem to have conflicting ideas on how Khajiit are birthed in lore, like Kharjo saying he was once a cub, while M'aiq the Liar suggests the idea that Khajiit children do not exist. Though M'aiq loses credibility for having the name "Liar" attached to him.
Also, the lack of orc children is jarring as well, considering they live in their own communities and probably lack the life expectancy of the other elf races. It would be great if they added new child races, as well as more marriage options, but I get the feeling that they just aren't going to bother with any of that.
