Will there be Tailor Profession in TESO?

Post » Sat May 18, 2013 7:28 am

I'm big fan of Tailoring in WoW, I'm even a IRL Polo Shirts fan.

Will there be Tailor Profession in TESO? And would you like to see it in the game?

Yep. Tailors make light armor for mages (which is a weird label because light armor is really just clothes/robes and not armor. Well, some of it is armored I guess).

So you can't have it as just clothing? (underneath amor)

I don't think so. That would be cool, but I don't think it'll happen.

Of course any class can where anything so the clothes aren't restricted to mages. You can probably put them on like a vanity slot separate from your actual gear slots, if they have an appearance tab in the game.

Nope. The 5 crafting professions are in various postings. There's an armorsmith that deals with armor - light / medium / heavy.

Simon pretty much just said it. There is no Tailoring profession in the game. Any sort of light armor you want to make will be done through armorsmithing.

And we have know what are the armor slots in the character page and there is no mention of a slot for you to wear any type of undershirt. So don't expect to be able to make anything like that.

There's no need for Tailoring because Tailoring would need to make light armor and since Armorsmiths can make it there is no need for a tailor.

Whatever man, it's not like this game is going to be a wow killer anyways.

Not directly no but wow has been losing members and this might push wow over the edge and if it does. Then wow might switch to free to play.

Hwy don't laugh. Some game will do it and this other than maybe a fallout online would probably be the best shot to do that.
