I couldn't saw through cloak with the termal vision, but that's not bad. If everyone was going around with thermal, cloaking would be unnecessary, so I think it's good like this. BUT there are multiple countermeasures to detect cloaked enemies. First, your crosshair is blinking red when it moves over a cloaked person. Second, many Suit modules will help detecting cloakers. The tracker module, wich displays arrows on the ground, where enemies just went on, Proximity alarm makes a sound when an enemy is nearby etc. It won't be impossible to be undetected when using cloak.

Thermal vision does not detect cloaked enemies. As others have pointed out, there are plenty of other ways to find them.

I'd imagine anyone who's played enough halo and unreal tournament will spot cloaked enemies :)

Amen to that. Halo Reach tho makes it alittle more harder, if it wherent for knowing the center of the red scattered dots on your radar is an actual enemy then I would be dead a lot more.

Also for me I got to the camo guy atleast 7 feet away to realize its a guy.

Somehow in Unreal Tournament and in Halo 3 it was easier to spot.

It's because reach was kind of blurry, halo 3 was far crisper and (in my opinion) quite a bit prettier as a result.

That's strange, Halo 3 actually runs at a (slightly) lower resolution than Reach.
