Will PC version be Next-Gen experience or a merely a fancy c

Dishonored looks pretty amazing and I have been interested in it for a while now, it feels like it has a similar experience to Bioshock which I really loved.

What I wanted to know is will dishonored be getting any special love for the PC? I have grown tired of the current gen consoles and now have a higher end PC with really good graphics (Nvidia 670 SLI) and a lot of grunt. Borderlands 2 are giving the PC special treatment with depth of field effects, better textures, and awesome physx integration. Will Dishonored be show us next gen PC gamers some true love or are we just getting a basic console port?

I appologise if this has already been asked and answered, it wasnt a sticky on in the FAQ and I scanned through the forums looking for a similar topic.

There is a bethblog post here about the various UI settings in the game (including a few PC specific ones like the FOV slider).

As for HD textures, I'm not aware of such thing, but maybe I've missed it. And personally I don't want "awesome physx integration", I like Havok more.

This game is not about graphics.Even if you put HD textures,it won't look any different.

Look at TF2.Does it need any HD textures? It looks great and the same is with Dishonored. Both TF2 and Dishonored are gameplay heavy.

Due to the aging power of the consoles we won't see the same graphics capabilities as say Watch Dogs. But like andy said, it doesn't need high resolution textures and a million polygons. It's great the way it is.

And yes the PC version will be awesome.

Thanks Freddo that was what I was looking for, it appears they are giving love for the PC platform. I also did a search on gameplay PC images on google and saw some high res images with full detail and it looks so awesome. I would not have cared on the 360 so much as I sit farther away but on a PC the better the graphics the more immersed into the world of the game that you become (providing the mechanics are good too). Cheers.
