Will a wireless network card for a Netbook work in

I'm at a yard sale and there is a wifi card here for a netbook, and I'd like to stick it in my desktop.

Probably not. Laptop/netbook cards often use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ExpressCard, which is something most desktop computers doesn't have any support for.

You don't see many netbooks with expresscard slots.

If it specificially says netbooks, it's probably USB based (you should be able to tell if it's USB based). If it's USB based it'll work fine on any PC

It's not USB based. It's a Belkin Pre-N Notebook Network Card. Will it at least work in my Dell Inspiron Mini?

It looks like ExpressCard. I don't think my netbook has that slot though.

Just an FYI: "Notebook" is a term for laptops, not netbooks.
