Will you mount your horse?

In Skyrim, I literally avoided horses. At first I tried to use mounts, but I had a few problems. My main problem was that they were dumber than oblivion horses. You could not back up directly, which could leave you to go over cliffs. Also, there was no first person view. Another problem I had, which was my personal hangup, was that I was passing up a lot of ingredients when mounted.

I decided early on that I would not buy a mount in ESO. Then they announced that mounts can help carry stuff. So, now I was wondering if my mount would follow me when I walked. I still do not want to mount up on my horse, but I do want a pack mule.

I was even hoping we could buy a cart for our mounts. Extra carry space would be nice.

I hope there is a feature that makes your mount follow you(optional), so you don't have to mount your horse, you just have one with you when you travel.

Yep, definitely will. Love horses in MMO's, they make my life much easier. But yeah, in Skyrim I rarely used Shadowmere. He was more fodder than anything, although very good fodder :D (I think he tanked a legendary dragon by himself once on master difficulty)

Assuming they're not as poorly implemented as the single player games, definitely. It'all probably be necessary, Tamriel after all is pretty big. I hope instead of doing the usual "summon" mount system, you whistle and your mount arrives at your location after spawning close by.

I mostly used my horse in Skyrim if I knew I was going into a dungeon and planning to get over-encumbered from all the loot. Instead of walking, I found it was much faster to return to town on a galloping horse.

I read that when Trigger died they mounted him and put him in a museum.

Mounts will probably be a necessity if you want to actually compete. In Cyrodiil especially I imagine it will be important to quickly go from one location to another.
