I bet someone will make a mod for this. Like the mod for rebuilding Kvatch.

Yeah. A few people were discussing this in a thread on here a few weeks back.

I seems daft to have a Jarl when there's only 4 houses in town... So the idea to rebuild would be pretty logical, and could also provide another player house.

I would be willing to gamble on a DLC on that.

I hope someone does, I think its a great idea for a mod.
Especially if it includes some more story about what happened to the town.

It has been discussed. It's already begun. Modders are just waiting for the CK to come out. They can't implement this before it comes out.

I've Noticed something with Hearthfire coming out they say the plots you buy are near Dawnstar, Morthal, and Falkreath but what about Winterhold as being the only place not able to buy a house is there a DLC coming out for Winterhold or what?

This is probably due to Winterhold be such a small hold, and Windhelm being close by. Though, I don't know what is the true reason why there is no place to build in the hold. I will say though, it's not the most hospitable hold. :ermm:

Possibly but I can't help feeling about what the Jarl and The Archmage said how big it was and now it is so small and broken I mean who likes looking at a bunch of rubble?

There is the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary in the Pale, yet you can still build in the Pale as well.

Maybe whoever beth put in charge of this add-on didn't think much of it then.

Winterhold may as well be Windhelm's version of Riverwood, just with a guild hall attached to it.

Maybe they are saving it for a major DLC revolving around magic

A rebuild would indeed be nice. I was expecting a mighty city controlling the northern coast. Then Tes5, well, I was surprised.

Winterhold deserves its own DLC. Several users have suggested a DLC that would involve
rebuilding Winterhold, and restoring to its former glory, and it is my greatest wish for a DLC!

it make a while im thinking the next dlc should be about rebuilding witerhold and make it the biggest city in skyrim. it was once the capital of skyrim bethesda shouldnt destroy the city. (by the way it would be nice having an arena in skyrim it would be a good place to put one )
