I wanted to make a Winterhold rebuild MOD. It was going to consist mainly out of an restored inner city, repaired college, new outer city, harbor and a set of thick city walls/towers (with everything keeping its current style).

So I went into the creation kit to look up all the required parts, then I discovered that the Winterhold set didn't contain many kit pieces (such as separate walls, towers and such) but many assemblies. So currently my idea isn't viable as I don't know how to cut up such assemblies to make true kit pieces, so please can somebody help me?
