I havn't played Skyrim for atleast a month because of this, when i talk to Faraldar outside the College, i ask her if i may enter the college, with the intentions of using the Dragonborn option (i don't want to use or learn any magic spells..) but it isnt there... i loaded the save back to before i started the quest, because i assumed it wouldnt let me use the option after i finish the game (as i went straight to septimus) but it still woudn't let me use or see the option...

Can anyone confirm this for me? There is nothing on the wiki... or google...

My main quest character entered with the shout during the main quest. According to the UESP Wiki, if you are there for the main quest Elder Knowledge you can tell her you are the Dragonborn, and then she will give you the option to use a shout.

Just to clarify, are you actually at the point in the main quest where you need to do that?

I passed the point in the Main quest and i know thats the reason it wouldnt let me do it, so i loaded an earlier save so i was on the quest Elder Knowledge but the option STILL wans't there, but i just this minute loaded back to BEFORE i started the actual quest and it finally let me use the option when i re-started the quest, so it is slightly bugged, but its just if you reload to a save WHILST on the quest.. its all good now though,

I've decided ill simply stay on the save i'm on now and get in by getting my speech up and then use the speech option ..
