I Wish I Could Play Skyrim

Post » Wed May 09, 2012 4:05 am

It is currently 11:00 on November 11th in Seoul, South Korea, my current place of residence.

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to fix this? I've sent a ticket to steam about it, but doubt that they will reply anytime soon. The Steam forums are currently impossible to register onto. This is quite frustrating and I would appreciate some help.

EDIT2: The entire world will have passed the Nov 11th mark by the time I can even play :/

No clue. That's terrible. Given that the times are determined server-side I suppose all you can hope for is that the issue has been noticed and is being corrected. :/

I'm not sure about time zones, but that might factor into it?

For example, I'm in Alaska, which is -4 hours from the East Coast of the US (where I'm assuming they're considering the "official" time for Steam releases.) So theoretically, my copy will available at 8:00PM, November 10th, here.

It might be different for various regions, as well (I think Japan and Europe got theirs a bit earlier, for example.)

That's all guesses, though.

EDIT2: Well, so much for working images. Just click the picture to see the problem. The entire world will have passed the Nov 11th mark by the time I can even play :/
Yeah, we've disabled embedded images in this forum. You can link to it, but that's it.

My timezone on Steam is set correctly, I don't really know what else to do. This is silly :(
