i wish there was heavy armor for imperials in the escape fro

i prefer playing characters who would side with the imperial legion, as well as playing heavy armored warriors, i do wish there was some heavy armor to find during the tutorial if you decide to follow hadvar.

it seems to me that the only heavy armor you can find is if you follow the stormcloak, and ironically enough, its imperial armor. but theres no heavy armor if you follow the imperial.

Uh, you've got 50 levels to go, minimum. No heavy armor available in the first <1%? Hardly seems a worthy gripe.

You can follow Ralof and still join the imperial legion, you know.

What happens in Helgen stays in Helgen, there are no reprecussions from following Hadvar or Ralof. I tend to follow Ralof because there is more loot to be had.

On the other hand if you want two-handed weapons your best bet is following the Imperials since it tends to be the Stormcloaks who have these at least in Helgen.

I believe there is an Imperial commander that you can kill, who wears heavy armour which you can then steal.

There's an
Spoiler
iron helmet in the bear cave... :)

And
Spoiler
You can get full Heavy armor immediately, if you follow Ralof (the stormcloak) into the keep. The Imperial Captain that sent you to the block is wearing all heavy armor, and you can kill her before anyone else in the game. You like Imperials? Dress like one! Just don't tell them where you got your duds. :)

Kdodds, I didn't say it was a "worthy" gripe, just a "wish". I didn't say Beth svcks cuz of it.

Also I am aware of full heavy armor when following the stormycloaks

Plus regardless of who you support in the war, you can't deny that the Imperial Captain is an utter [censored] that deserves to be killed.

One of the bandits outside Bleak Falls Barrow should have one. You'll only have to face a few wolves(w/ Hadvar) and 1 or 2 bandits.

Did they forget to give the Stormcloaks heavy armour or something?

It really doesn't matter since you can make up for it at Alvor's smithy.

You can still kill them without repercussions, I did for their 2h weapon. Ralof didn't mind
