I always loved the way this map was done. Wish they would have done it like this in Oblivion and Skyrim. The map with the guide was good, but had they replaced the icons with illustrations of each place, that baby would be up on the wall.

Looks quite interesting indeed. Would be awesome if next TES offers us something alike.

I think I would prefer the map that came with the game over the one with the guide (which is nice) even if it had illustrations instead of icons. I think (or at least I hope..) I still have my Morrowind one around here somewhere, which is probably my favourite. Had Skyrim's one been cloth (like the map that Dragon Age: Origins had with their collector's/limited) then it'd take top spot for me.

Brings back memories. Back in the day, I had that map pinned to the wall in my living room, so I could look at it while playing the game. I would love a map like that for Skyrim.
