would have had real jobs! Yeah so i'm sure that if Bethesda maybe didn't aim for the 11.11.11 date OR they just worked a bit more on marriage, they could have had your spouses have at least real jobs! like seriously, all they do is stay at your house, no big deal, what's worse is that they have a shop IN YOUR HOUSE! so you have random people trampling in on your stuff.

lol all jokes aside, a neat thing they could have had was that your spouse gets a job based on their class, like Aela could work at the dunk huntsmen if you had her move into breezehome, or if you moved somewere else she worked somewere where she either sold bows and arrows or meat. If you move into a city with something for their particular class they could work at the tavern and be what the redguard is/was in the banared mare, not sure were she is in my game, guess she just up and left.

SIDE NOTE why don't inn's have the waitresses similar to what the banard mare has? it really adds a sense of realism to the game. hearthfire patch/released with it on ps3 maybe one day?

thoughts on either topics? I don't think it's to much to ask is it?

Having them do more would have been great, I'm not sure they ever even thought about having them do more. With that said its never been a much of a problem for me since my wife travels with me.

I wished that they didn't offer so many marrage choices.

The marriage system is pretty shallow as-written. Would have been better to have no more than 20 (one for each race/gender) and focus on developing them fully, rather than give the 50+ they currently offer, with several instances of "Hey, you beat me in a fistfight! Sure, I'll marry you!"

Derkthesus, or whatever his name is; is an ore miner.

They should update the game and give the player the option to instruct their spouse to seek or improve employment, and Derkthesus could respond "Bout all I know is mining ore."
