Woah there Jimbo

So i approach a bandit camp as part of one of the side quests, only to dismount and see my horse charge in and kill all the bandits... really?

You know i kinda wanted to kill them myself, you know to get the experience... between horse charging and companions/allies its seem the only way i am levelling my weapon skill is by hitting friendly npc's getting in the way of my hits.

The horse is just [censored], i cant dismount in the wild if i aggroed a wolf 5 minutes before, because as soon as i do, my mount charges off to god knows where, leaving me to either try to track it down (thank you for no mount indicator on the map), fast travel some where, or just keep on going on foot.

Not to mention the horse puts any tank i played with in any MMO to shame, not only does it aggro the whole camp, it holds it and solo kills every body. If only i could train it to open doors it could clear the whole dungeon for me.

My companion is just a pretty face that hangs around my house all day, i cant bring her with my any where, she steals all my kills, and gets in my way all the time.

And the Imperial Army quests... yeah could had been really epics if it wasn't for your allies, they just love to run into my swings... i kill more of them than the enemy does, but at least in this game they dont turn on you if you accidentally kill one of them in friendly fire, but it kinda kills the mood for me.

I really wish that i don't need to either charge in like a berserker just in order to get some action, or stay back and see the npc's have all the fun...

I restarted the game a couple of times, 3 out of 4 times, the npc's killed the first dragon without me hitting it ones, 1 time it didnt even lands once before it was dead.

Does anybody else have this problem? I just want my horse to stay where i dismount it, and for the npc, to target me on not the horse.

Don't know but some fights are pretty hard on adept difficulty.

Probably because I just roam the map and doing quests on random without sticking to some faction quest line.

Couple of times I was forced to slide to novice difficulty, because couldn't kill my enemies. Some dragons are pretty tough too.
