I wonder where vampire Nords go to when they die.

I know Norse werewolves won't go to Sovngarde, but I have not really heard anything about Vampires. Would a nord Vampire go to Sovngarde, if he/she has proven to be a hero even with the disease?

Or will they go to some place else? I am thinking about it since I might want to make one of my characters a vampire, however. She wants to go to Sovngarde.

I know Vampires don't die of old age, but they are still able to die in battle. :P

But like, dead dead.
So like, laid to rest. Surely they have some place to go to when they get killed?

It depends on how they die. Sovngarde is for those who die with bravery and honor, although there's still Tsun to take care of.

If they die like a fool, then they just die, like every non-Nord out there.

I do not believe they do go anywhere. I believe that is the sacrifice you make when you embrace immortality. (age-wise)

Werewolves join Hircine, Nord heroes join Sovngarde, Vampire Lords MIGHT join Molag Bal because of their pure blood (speculation of course)

Not much is mentioned in lore or in game of there ever really being anywhere to go after you are a "regular" vampire. I believe the saying was,"as a vampire you cannot die, but you can still be destroyed."

If vampires die they might end up in Coldharbour the Oblivion Plane of Molag Bal.

So, if a vampire dies, or gets destroyed. He/she is gone? Just removed from the world and the afterlife? Well that's pretty depressing if somebody accidently became a vampire searching for a cure, but getting killed in that search for the cure. :)

Just goes to show you how important it may be to be vigilant with vampire encounters. Better to rid yourself of the disease before it takes full hold of you and if it does, then find a safe way of getting it cured.
