Wooden Sword of the Undead!

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 4:59 am

I'm late to hearthfire, being that I owned a ps3 and just switched to xbox. but I just found out while I was enchanting random objects to boost my enchanting up that you can enchant wooden swords, (I havn't tryed any other kid objects yet) and as you probably have guessed it is a wooden sword with the undead flee enchant. and yes I gave it to my son, can't remember his name right now (horrible father) but he's the boy from dawnstar.
has anyone done similiar things?

I know it's completly pointless to give them an enchanted sword, but hey I think it's funny.

I have read where a lot of people have given enchanted weapons to the kids just for fun, not that they will use them. But hey, it's fun, and no harm, so why not? lol I probably will too, eventually.

I use Windstad manor for my family home and its next to two draugr crypts. I enchanted two wooden swords. one for undead and the other of fire damage. My daughters can set draugr on fire and set them off running heh

Not a bad thought, if you live in Undead country. Kind of like mosquito repellant, only it's draeger repellent.

I came home one time to find Sofia swinging her sword in a chopping motion at the grass. I walked over to say hi and noticed she was standing over a dead draugr. I know she didn't kill it. I've had two draugr lying dead on the ground by the stable for a while. But it was pretty funny all the same.

Better yet, smith that puppy up to a reasonable level, dual enchant it, and then go dragon hunting. I just had to kill an ancient dragon with a wooden sword. It was too tempting to resist. :)

I like how the sword makes it magic noise when the kids pull them out to use. makes the wooden sword that much cooler.

LOL I made sure I upgraded the wooden sword to Legendary, but I didn't think to enchant it! I must find another wooden sword and maybe add paralyze LOL

Well, they CAN kill their pets with those weapons, if you are not careful! LOL
