Is this one of the better axes in the game or something? I heard it levels up with your 2h skill. Has anyone tested it out? I have it at a low level.

It's just an ordinary iron axe with a unique name. Aside from that, it's nothing special.

Heh, I guess I'll mount it on a wall then. "First among unique weapons"...

Wait...

I think what I heard is right. It was 24 dmg when I got it. It's 28 now.

It's not a regular iron axe btw.. can't be upgraded. But I it's unnecessary, if I'm not just imagining things here.

Don't all weapons show the same increase in damage when you increase the skill required to use it?

Do they? lol.. I'm confused now. I just made a regular iron battleaxe and it does 26 dmg. Woodsman's is at 28 atm. Neither changes if I unequip them.

It wouldn't matter if you unequip them or not. Any time you view its stats it tells you what the damage that weapon would do at your current skill level.

Or at least that's the way I THINK it works.

Yeah, you're right.

There's a lot of trollish info out there btw. Here's another "Aela the Huntress is the only character who can execute opponents, if you equip her with Nettlebane". That used to be on one of the Wikis. Glad it's not now.
