Can we expect the merchants to alter their normal working hours to accommodate us players? The regular 8-5 hours of the merchants in games past can't work anymore with players being on at all hours. I can only think that this will put great pressure on the working class.

MMO's are forced to bend the rules of logic or immersion in some cases. This is one of them. Merchants will be awake and open 24/7

I'm not sure how it will work in the game, but I guess it will be either like Morrowind or in Skyrim.

In Morrowind the merchants are open 24/7.

In Skyrim the merchants are open during the day. However, 24 game hours passes in 48 real minutes or so, so it's not much of an issue.

Well, my hat goes off to them. I guess it will increase employment with them needing to hire more workers to stay open 24/7. Lets all just remember how hard these "people" are working for us to keep us well supplied on our journeys.

LOL, yeah it would be cool to have different vendors for different hours of the day =)

As a longtime Morrowind player who only picked up Skyrim a few months ago, I have to say that the daily schedules are really annnoying. Immersive, certainly - but the wait function is so damn slow that I welcome ESO's return to static NPC's.

I'd expect the Morrowind system here.
