Can this be done? Few spoilers coming up here.


I have been working with NCR mostly, and I had to go and "remove" Mr House for them. So before I kill him, I had a bit of a chat, and since I last saw House I've got the Boomers on my side, etc. So I tell him in hope to get some EXP, but he just gives me another quest. Suddenly the NCR somehow find out I'm working for House, and refuse my help in the future.

So anyway I reloaded, and I killed House. I was considering killing House already to take Vegas for myself, so I am just wondering, if I return to Yes Man and tell him I've got rid of the Omertas and I have the Boomers on my side, will working with Yes Man result in gaining infamy with the NCR, and will they refuse to let me work for them again?

I could work for both NCR and Yes Man. I started For The Republic Pt 2 and left it there, then I did quests for Yes Man for a while, getting support from Boomers and Brotherhood and got rid of Omertas. Then I got Don't Tread on Bear quest and I started working on For The Republic, and did it to the point I protected the President from assassination. Thus I ended up with a situation where I can conclude the game with either Yes Man or NCR.

I thought Don't Tread on the Bear was the sign the NCR no longer wanted you? Or can I just get back on their good side after that by killing Legion guys?

As the quest "objective" says, the NCR won't accept help if you continue working for Yes Man.
