PVP
First of all, im not a native english speaker, so sorry for bad english.
I played a lot of games. MMOs, MMORPGs, permutations, clones, etc... many different systems, and many different sources of productivity (develops's side) and fun (gamers side)... so...i going to tell you, what is in my mind, when we talk about eSPORT v hardcoe PVPs and PVE-MORALISTs in connection with the CREDO of ELDER SCROLLS.
Maybe the game has been completely finished and what I write is completely unnecessary. If not, then here.
Cyrodiil PVP + World PVP could = PERPETUUM MOBILE
Cyrodiil
After a lot of thinking, I have to say, the basic idea is great. Untouchable. This is the autotrophic side of this perpetual motion. If u like pvp but u cant afford to spend too much money and/or time on the game, the lvl 50 cap (?) eSPORT system (fair gaming) is great idea. If there is a reticular ranking (?) system u can/could get good stuffs for markers (medals of glory like in PWI) if u can fight well in the Cyrodiil instance. Here u go... a guy with talent ... (of what exactly? i will speak about it at the end of my post)
BUT...
World PVP
But there is a whole map. And we speak about the ELDER SCROLLS SERIES and a whole gaming HISTORY so...
THERE IS A WHOLE MAPE. Imposible to use the 4/5 of the map to PVEing. Dozens of wasted opportunities.
The only problem and the source of the argues here is the bloody MONEY. Yes... But look, PVPers will spend money on the game (actually ive 12 friends ... and we waiting for testing/buying/downloading the game and we were hardcoe pvpers everywhere)
and oftenly these guys buying their own time, and fun. Nothing wrong with that. But the eSPORTING could be HIPOCRACY also if ppl reject other ppl who CAN support the developers actually, to run the game for PVErs(well, actually do not do for them, but the result is correct i think).... and ve fun together.
So i think WORLD PVP IS OK IN ESO IF:
1. Exp. points system. If u PK out players from other factions and/or in their own area u could get high EXP. (In-faction PK = arenas in my mind or dueling options). Exp. is always good reward of PVPers.
LOOTING etc.... forget it. Worst restriction ever. Loot coins its ok...anything else... No way.
2. LVL XX+ = VERY VERY HARD TO REACH. If the EXP points represents a KIND of value... evident.
3. Everything is important. That has sense. Factions needs the PVPers in the FACTION WARS in areas outside of Cyrodiil, in THE instance everyone needs everyone.
4. The BASIC IDEA HERE IS that PVPer can buy their GEARs... who cant... they can reach that trough CYRO... everybody wins...
IF
5. Every factions should ve their exact and valuable resources what the endgame gears requires (means for example rank XY gear is avalaible to buy for cash... (via the given system) but the endgame GEAR needs CYRO rewards etc etc.... there r a lot of permutations to balancing a game via satisfy the PVPers, PVErs, eSPORTERS ...hybrid persons etc.
Or u need a PVP server with this system and make a PVE server with only INSTANCED "WORLD PVP". And then it turns out, wich one has more relevancy to keep that alive... (optionally both coz this is THE ELDER SCROLLS so with the given system and WORLD PVP SERVER (with extra faction war options.... "step over the threshold and allowed to fight for exp. extra materials...and EXACT TERRITORIES for those EXACT RESOURCES what everyone needs to Craft, etc, etc Endless options")....
All in All:
OUT from Cyro: PVPers bringing the suplies (in game trading +)
FROM Cyro: Everyone (Mostly eSPORTers) bringing the suplies (in game trading ++)
Optionally:
WORLD PVPers = Bounty system for rewards naturally (NOT LOOT), Extra EXP gain to hunter, Loss to Hunted ... Bounty = PK -10 lvls ...etc...
6. Grinding places: PPL VE TO CARE about EACH OTHER ... raiders appear etc... beleive this makes ingame FRIENDS in quick hurry...

ITS ELDER SCROLLS so i can imagine there r more than 2000 ppl wana do massive pvp wars OUT FROM AN INSTANCE
For God's sake.. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THE BEST SHOOT EVER in this 2-3 yrs.
TOTAL WORLD PVP (or at least a server) IS DEMANDED...i think. (Except PKing of the same faction members... but this could be optional, risky so dont suggested btw).

And realy... reading the forums and... the thing become clear: player want physics... i mean:
1. Collision...yeah yeah, this can be exploited, abusing options with it...but.. look. I think, the rouge / Sin ...or all the Stealth classes could, want to play with their skills. And just remind urselfs: AC serries... phisics r GREAT and good or not, the industry, mostly who r running, or going to run any NEW MMORPGs... should take a notice: physics has ODDS when we speak about possibilities of "How Can I Run A Game".
2. Another thing: i dont know exactly what ll be the exact relation between the perks / skills / spells and the ingame reality, but i can suggest that the phisics has TO BE CLEVER. As its possible.
Stealth: Jumping, moving, kiting skills
Mag: Phisical wards/def ...or good knock backs or terrain manipulation or element fortresses (here comes the chance to change between PVP/1v1 or TW mag ROLE is viable if they actualy planning that they want to give a chance to every well known classes, those r underpowered in many other slob(ly) programed sh1t fests.
Warriror-Hybrids/Tanks: Here u go. Collision has an effect exactly here in player versus player GAMING (what u can imagine). I can imagine a strengh + armour + skill OR mag + ward/fortress etc spells (for example imagine a phys. res.based ward spell: baldes can slides down from it...) + skill dependant collision system... as u see the part of COLLISION is for war. classes good physics for everyone...
