I want this feeling again! I had hoped that hearth fire could offer that but the most it gave was a few new rooms and a small wooden house where if you even moved everything would fall off the shelves. We should have the option to build a huge stone manor. Obviously though , it should cost much more. Possibly 85,000 septims to complete? It could also contain the new rooms that have been added in hearth fire and have the capability to contain ALL of the rooms. You could then build on it. Maybe build a lush flower garden outside of it and then even a farm where you could hire workers in cities and every week the farm would produce 10,000 profit. After you had maybe built a manor , farm , garden area , fountain , small lake , servants quarters , mine (which could produce ebony and gold every week but cost 20,000 to build) and a few towers you could then be given the option to create a tall stone wall around your manor and hire some guards to patrol the area.
Now all this would come at a price of gold and materials. Even some quests to complete. But the biggest problem would be finding a huge amount of land to build on right? Well maybe you could stumble upon a newly formed island just north of skyrim or build right next to Whiterun in the plains area. Or even better , Bethesda could add more land.
Maybe this idea is crazy and far fetched and I would totally understand if everyone thought that it was , but this would just be great and would take housing to a new level in Skyrim.
