Would love to see the Akaviri

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 2:33 pm

Even just one character of each the four akaviri races like a Tsaesci Mercenary or a Tang Mo Trader or something. I've been fascinated by the Akaviri for years. I hope bethesda considers have 1 or two Akaviri characters in future Dlc because i would hate to wait another 5 years just to see one.

It would be interesting to see, considering in TES3 Morrowind, they had the last known Dwemer that the player could talk to.

I prefer Akavir to stay mysterious. All great stories need to keep secrets.

Yeah I've read Mysterious Avakir a bunch of times and I agree. LIke the Dwenmer (to an extent) they are on the other side of the world. They are mysterious and I would rather hear about them than deal with them. It creates the "feels like a real big world" effect.

I hope Beth will always keep their games to Tamriel, visiting Akavir or dealing with them would spoil the fun. Just as I believe a DLC where you find out about the Dwemer would ruin them.
But I think they'll eventually they'll have the Akaviri invade or something, making them enemies. Maybe Tosh Raka'll be the main antoganist?

Dragons are a akaviri race

Well yeah, they originate from Akavir. But calling them Akaviri would be like calling all people Central-Africans. (Looking from a non-religious, scientific perspective, let's not make this a debate)
The Tsaesci invaded Tamriel during the reign of Reman I, and I guess they would be the ones invading if they did again.
Ka'Po Tun and Tang Mo have teamed up, so they might be possible candidtaes too.
Don't remember the name of the last Snow Demon race, but they are only awake during summer when they attack Tang Mo.

They seem frickin' awesome, but I don't really want to meet them.

Yeah, you thought sovngarde sounded awesome place...it's not -.- That was one of the things Beth should not have touched. Yeah the idea and stories sounds cool about the place but when I got there I was just ''really..?...so this is the promised land.'' *facepalm*

You'll be fine, everything's getting all right in the end, right?

When yo say that I want to go back playing Oblivion just to kill me some of those.
The Falmer can be thought of as the new Goblins, but I want both.

Eventually tamriel will become dry and boring when they explore every bit of it. Why waste akavirs potential ! a fresh new continent with new races and lore. Which many inclueding myself wish to experience and see.

I especially hope for some Ka Po' Tun to appear in a TES game because DRAGON KITTIES!

No, really, Akavir is amazing. So exotic, full of interesting races and cultures.

Well, let's spare Akavir totally until we've explored every single squareinch of Tamriel.

Personally I would like a dlc where you go to Artaeum first, just to clear up the stuff with the psijic order. However, Akavir is definitly one of my top choices for a dlc
