Wow such little progress in the last year.

I can't believe what I'm seeing here on the forums a whole year later. I put Skyrim down about 8 months ago when it became unplayable, I thought I'd give it time but it seems nothing is happening. I loved this game and its really a shame I can't fully enjoy it with all it's dlc on the console I chose to buy.

So are the first two dlc's never coming to ps3? Or is that just rumor?

Bethesda said that they are still working on Dawnguard and Hearthfire but they will release Dragonborn at first because they don't want that we have to "wait any longer" (I'm not buying that btw.). Also it seems that they are planning new DLCs next year. But believe me: With all the patches the performance of the game is worse than it was on 11/11/11 and I'm sure once the DLCs (or at least one) arrive it will break the game completely.

My advice: Sell Skyrim as long as you get some money for it.

No amount of time can change the fact that the game engine and the way it uses resources and the hardware of the PS3 and the way it uses resources just do not work well together and the only thing that would change that is to change the hardware (ie. release a new console) or change the game engine (ie. rewrite the entire game under a new engine) -- and since neither off those is likely to happen no amount of time passing is going to improve the situation !! They may be able to tweak things a bit by decreasing the quality of the textures or the various draw distances etc. but doing that and then releasing more content just to make some extra revenue is only going to upset the user even more so they may be better off just giving up on releasing more content for the PS3 at this point.
