Its about time they actually had something liek this. Sure its not much but at least I'm getting some reward for being such a devoted player.

Two percent rebate isn't exactly a whole lot, but It's nice that they've decided to actually make gamerscore reward the players in some way. Perhaps more companies will join this trend in the future with similar concepts.

I can't put into words how apathetic I am about this. They've always seemed strangely pavlovian and creepy in my mind, especially when your soul 'fun' becomes the achivement not enjoying the game as I have seen friends become obsessed with them. Each to their own though I guess some people like striving for them.

The rewards seem a bit low also, not saying they should shower gamers with gifts but it just seems a bit like Xbox nectar points

I have close to 25,000 but 2% isn't even worth the time it takes to sign up.

I feel like Micorsoft kept the rewards low becuse they are worried about how much they will actually have to give away. 25,000 isn't that much to a "hardcoe" gamer. Sure M$has a boat loads of money but its always smart to be caustious with new business tactics. Who know maybe they'll increase them over time. Either way I'm happy with the system.

I just read over the Election 2012 offer they had. Kinda cracks me up they'll give you a halo outfit for your avatar if you watch 3 of the 4 presidential debates on your xbox.

I was already planning on watching them online (don't really have actual tv), so this makes it much better since I can watch it from my xbox and get a small spiff for it.

So far from what I see, I like this system.

Except it feels suspiciously a lot like my xbox is turning into my rewards credit card....

Well, I have over 30,000, but I already got rid of my gold account... None of my friends are on Xbox anymore. We all built gaming computers.

Interesting move but I'd prefer if they allowed one free DLC or whatever then a discount.
