Xbox 360 controller causing my PC Skyrim to freeze

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 8:23 pm

Im using my xbox 360 controller to play Skyrim on my PC. It was working all day today before I did a relaunch. Every time I attack or pick a lock my skyrim freezes. If I unplug my xbox 360 controller it unfreezes and I can get on with my play.

Anyone know how to solve?

Thanks in advance.

No issues here. It could be a hardware issue, usb ports, motherboard, somethign causing the device driver to hang it. MAke sure you are not runnign XBC drivers but official MS ones.

I doubt my motherboard or any of my USB ports would crap out just after an hour break. And I am using the official MS drivers.

Not sure how this issue just popped out of no where :(

You can resolve the issue by using a mouse and keyboard. Why in the World would you want to use a controller?
