Anyone ever try/buy any of these? If so have you found any good ones?




I found one today for 1$ that's pretty fun. It's pretty much just minecraft with guns,and a greater numbers of monsters. you can pay another 1$ for the other version to get a bonus code for it that unlocks the "creative" mode that has unlimited resources.

LIMBO comes to mind. It's a puzzle-platformer with a monochromatic aesthetic and some really good puzzle design. I haven't played it on the 360, but since I was using a pad I assume the Xbox version is more or less the same.

I also really liked Bastion: it's got a really clever technique with the narration and a great art style.

Cthulhu Saves the World is a great 360 indie game, and is also available on Steam for PC.

I'm not 100% sure if this is what the OP means, but those two games are in the 360 Live Arcade Game section and not in the 360 Indie section.

A few ones I've enjoyed on PC that I know are on XBLA as well:

Bastion
Mark of the Ninja
LIMBO
Super Meat Boy
Beat Hazard

And I think Terraria is coming to XBLA soon.

(I don't know the distinction between XBLA and the indie section by the way so I could be wrong about where these games are)

Nuclear Wasteland is a decent XBL indie game, and its only a buck.
