Xbox 360 Issues with the Hearthfire and Dragonborn DLC

Post » Tue Jan 22, 2013 2:02 pm

So i′ve got this issue, I′ve downloaded the dlc′s for skyrim ( Hearthfire and Dragonborn ), and completed them all ( mostly ). The thing is, I tried to download them at a friends house on his xbox, which seemed to cause a problem. When I try and play the game on my own xbox, the DLC′s won′t load. I am stuck with regular Skyrim and I can′t find a way through. I′ve tried on numerous occations to re-download the add-ons but to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated:)

Thanks

I play on the xbox 360 btw

If you cannot play the DLC, how did you manage to almost finish it? You can only have the DLC on one Xbox 360, you want it on your friends Xbox 360 he should have brought his own. You would have to probably contact Microsoft's Xbox 360 Support on how to get your DLC license transferred back to your Xbox 360, since you seemed to have attempted to pirate the game. Sorry if I misinterpreted what you said. You might find something helpful on the link below.

Next time just take your Xbox 360 to your friends place.

Are you saying that you logged in on your friend's xbox to load the DLC's?
If so, did you log out? XBox Live may think you're still at the other location, which may be keeping you from playing on your XBox now.

Edit: Or go with Aussie's advice.

Unless you log in (with the Xbox Live account the DLC was purchased on) on your friends system you won't be able to play it. Only one Xbox 360 system is allowed to run a single license of DLC offline.

Im not sure exactly what you mean, if you went over to a friends house ( maybe with just your save file) and bought it on your friends gamertag then thats a big mistake as it was 'him' buying it not you.

you will probably find people in this area of the forums who will help you, since they use that particular area of the forums because they can (hopefully) help people.
