i can start up and load a save on skyrim no problems just when i die or load a previous save from the start menu it always freezes my xbox!

about halfway through the loading screen and then just everything just completely freezes

it happens literally everytime i die and reload a save, meaning i have to restart my xbox and restart skyrim

is there a way to fix this?

i have never had this problem in the past and am worried it may be related to the new update

p.s. i have both dlcs but i dont think that its a problem related to that.

Are you currently on the "Waking Nightmare" quest? There was a problem introduced in Patch 1.8 whereby saving at any time after the release of the Miasma would cause the game to freeze. If this is your problem, there is a discussion on how to get past it in the following link.

You will need a savegame that is just prior to the release of the Miasma/start of the 'Dreamwalker' sequence.

no i currently dont have any active quests - i dont have any problem saving my game or loading my game from the title screen. just when i die and i get the loading screen it completely freezes half way

its really frustrating because it means every time i die i have to reset my whole xbox and skyrim - its making the game almost unplayable

ive even done tests where i load up a game from the title menu, walk around for a bit then reload that save from the start menu and it will freeze half way

i have never encountered this problem before! ive cleared my cache and deleted then redownloaded the update data and i still get this problem.
