I cant expressed how pissed off i am! I've been trying to get onto Xbox LIVE now for the past half an hour, i found ut it may be due to Xbox 'Service Alerts'.. However the site says that this should only affect Xbox.com so i have a shot at downloading my profile, it gets about 1/10th of the way before it stops and says 'Xbox profiles cant download profiles right now', so i go to sign back into my profile and its bloody dissapeared! And i suspect that it wont come back until i download it fully, which i cant do whilst xbox is having its sissy fit! C'mon Microsoft! I dont ask for you to be perfect but all these [censored] ups on the day hearthfire is released is [censored] terrible! You sure went and dropped the [censored] ball didnt you! For christ sake, honestly!

Is anyone else experiencing difficulties like this? Or are they only picking on me?

i'm the same i deleted my profile and tried to download it again and it only downloads so far then come up with an error.

I'm relieved because I thought it was my xbox. I don't want to fork out several hundred pounds for a new one.

But I'm annoyed because I can't download Hearthfire!!!!!!!

Well atleast im not the only one, atleast i can safely say i have my Skyrim brothers and sisters toughing it out with me :3

According to Nowgamer who spoke to Microsoft they said this

UPDATE: We've spoken to Microsoft who tells us this is just symptomatic of most service updates and that there's nothing to worry about.
Normal service should resume in the next couple of hours.

Its been 3-4 hours and its still down...I got up early just to download hearthfire...this is bs

I am so glad I'm not the only one that tried re-downloading their profile! We better be able to get them back soon. I wanted to put more work into my characters but I can't until I get my profile back.

You know what especially irritates me about this?

I pay an annual membership fee for a Gold service. And I pay a lot. So do many, many, many other people. That service should be up 24/7 for us.
