if your xbox is relatively new id take it back to the store you got it or if you got it online contact the store as it sounds like youve got a faulty HDD. it should be replaced if its under 12 months depending on the stores policy. they may just want you to send it in for repair though, but id argue for a new console alltogether if its under 12 months old as you should be entitled to a new one.
if you dont want to bother with that then try formatting your xbox, ive no idea how to do this as ive not needed to do it before. just make sure you back up all your game saves before you format your HDD. if the problem persists you definitely need your xbox or its HDD drive repairing/replacing. its likely got a corrupted HDD.
