XWM to WAV converting

Is there any easy way to convert an FUZ or XWM to a WAV file?

I want to make my own quest line, which necessitates my own audio files naturally. I figured, I would extract the ones from Skyrim that could be useful, but they are all FUZ (which I can convert to XWM easily enough), but I don't want to go through the whole Windows DirectX SDK shenanigans, cause that's a pain in the :swear: , just to get my files in a usable format.

Are there any other tools out there?

I recommend http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3159 for xwm -> wav and vice versa

I have been using a batch for fuzzies, but I did just find http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=9797 which seems cool.

Just a heads up, the creation kit only lets you select WAV files natively, at least for Music files, pretty sure its the same for sounds as well. Annoying, especially because some users have issues with WAV files crashing the game. If you want to compress your new audio back into xwm you have to use something like TESVSnip to point the audio to the xwms.

Looks like a great tool... unfortunately, my Norton threw up red flags after downloading that file, so I'd rather not risk it.

I've got it working now anyways, just probably not as fast as that tool could be. Here's my process basically:

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/imageshare/image.php?id=85783

click the little photo on the right side (under the thumbs-up) for full size so it's legible

not sure how to do batches yet though....
