Is there anyone left in Hollywood with even a shred of creativity?

This time it's RoboCop. Apparently Hugh Laurie will appear alongside Gary Oldman and Sam Jackson.

Three great actors, if there's a worthwhile Robocop I think it could work - although I'd rather a Robocop 4 than a reboot.

They do, but they tend to be pretty bad. Or people will say it is just a rip off of something.

I agree they are great actors. I'm just sick to death of remakes/reboots, prequels etc. I watch very few movies these days for this very reason. The film industry isn't going to win me back without giving me something new and original.

I'm getting pretty fed up with re-makes. I don't think a lot of films from the 70s and 80s need remaking. Sure some of them are a bit naff, what with special effects not being up to today's standards, but that's part of the charm.
