...Yet another vampire question (or 2) regarding the face sc

Post » Sun Nov 18, 2012 5:51 pm

So, I understand that you cannot use the face sculptor if you are a vampire.

I also believe you can get the vampirism disease multiple times, and become a vampire more than once.

But, if you're a Vampire Lord, can you cure vampirism, get a "make-over", and then become a vampire (lord) again?

You are my best friend in the cyber world right now. But, do you have to finish the quest-lines for her to do so?

Or rather, did she mention after or before you finished the vampire quests? Sorry for any spoilers, anyone else!

Not sure if that'll solve your problem though, considering a lot of things (eyes, skintone, lips) change upon becoming a vampire if I've heard right.

So unless you're just dying to change your hair, war paint, or a few other things, a lot of this may be for naught.

Actually, that was the main thing I wanted to do---hair and war-paint, lol. But honestly, I could see vampirism re-adapting itself after the fact. Only one way to find out, huh?

And honestly, the only thing that really changed on my wood elf was the eyes and lip color. Skin never gets paler, fangs never show... just bright eyes and darker lips. I think the jaw protrudes a bit more, but that's about it.

That's good. I just wanted to spare you some trouble if you were going after things that would instantly revert when you changed back into a vampire.

I think you need to finish the quest line. (I know you need vampires seduction in a quest, so i dont think you can even get cired during the vampire quests, or she is suppose to give you vampirism if you get it cured so the quest can be completed.)

Ha, I appreciate it. That's why I started this thread... in case anyone already had experience, and so I didn't waste time if it was a fruitless effort.

Hmm.. makes me wonder. I'll definitely have to experiment with it. Make a 'special' save in case things go wrong, lol.

...I wish my PC was good enough to run Skyrim, lol. It's JUST shy of being able to.

I tried on my werewolf gal. I wasn't sure if it was one of the selections till I paid attention to Serana.... But, sadly, it's not amongst any of the hair selections. ;[ I'm with you on that sentiment, though.

Possible Spoiler, but an UPDATE:

Don't read on, if you'd rather find out yourself, but...

I just cured myself of Vampirism using Falion's ritual and the black soul gem.... I had Serana with me the whole time. As soon as the ritual was complete, and I was cured, I talked to Serana and an option is: "I want you to turn me into a vampire".

I'm only in the beginning of the Dawnguard quests, so... here you go if you're a vampire and you want to change the way you look, and then become a Vampire Lord again!

Confirmed. It works perfectly fine. :) Hope I didn't spoil anyone!
