Ok this place is a mess I got around the black blury start load and retreved the helm of winterhold (ok big mistake) so the end door will not open and the button does nothng. Wiki informs me of the endless glitch posibilities in this place. So I tried the "resetinterior Yngolbarrow01" in the console so I could get the helm of yngol. it reset but did not work. I recived the winterhold quest way to long ago to go back to an old save. So I followed the instructions and in the console used "setstage favor158 20" that removed the winterhold quest. I entered the cave But, when I got to the puzzel door the rings activated but the claw activator does not respond no mesages no clicks no nothing, yes I have the right claw, I am at a loss here. Is the "Helm of Yngol" linked to a spacific quest that I have missed? I have done many puzzle door quests so I know the rutine Either you have the proper claw or you get a message that tells you which one you need, I get nothing.
I understand I can get the helm of yngol through the console. I don't know the command off hand, But I like to do the quest or the explore without having to resort to the console. If I have no other option can I at least find the exit from outside the cave so I can get to that storage box on the otherside of the unopenable gate?
