So...you can get 100% spell absorbtion, without Necromage, n

Atronach Stone (50%) + Atronach Perk (30%) + Miraak's Set (15-25%) = 100%

Is this right, or does Miraaks stuff not stack?

I believe it's also possible to do this without miraak's gear using some stacking effects of potions and then taking the atronach stone. But that also doubles the magicka regeneration drawback.

Never heard that before ?O Do you mean restoration potions? And does the bonus remains, when the potion wears off?

Thanks! I did something similiar with the Amulet of Talos, but I didn't knew it works with the Atronach stone, too. :)

I thought this maxed out at 85% regardless of what your enchantments/perks were.

Summoning isnt that important. It's a nice, strong skill but some players dont even use it. On 2 of my playthroughs i only used it to train other skills.

25 characters here, and I've yet to devote any real time to summoning. Frankly, I'd just rather do the fighting myself, rather than run and hide and let minions do it.

Kudos to those who enjoy summoning, but for me, standing around watching something else fight sounds boring. Might try it a bit more now that there's that black book ability that grants companions immunity for your attacks(but not story npc followers).

I know you don't NEED to, but for some players who DO invest heavily in summoning, it can be game-breaking to get any form of spell absorption. Especially with one of those methods being a perk that, until NOW, you couldn't reverse. Can't tell you how confused I was when I couldn't summon anything, until I came on these forums.
Summoning is nice. Spell absorption is more or less useless. You'd get more out of it if you made a bunch of clothes to increase magicka and magicka regen. Without the downsides.

I'm still uncertain why summons are still absorbed by this effect. Take Arvak for example. He works just like any other summon, but spell absorption doesn't work on him at all. It's bizarre.

I think its do with how the summons work. All the orginal spells the game treated it as if your casting at another target ( you) who has the absorption thus the target absorbs the spell (you).

Im curious though... Has anyone tried summoning anything apart from Arvak thats 'new' ?
I would guess it wouldnt work as I assume summon Arvak works differently than a 'normal' summon due to being able to interact with him.

The Ash Guardian always works. Can't think of any other summon, however.

Ash might work due to it being 'different' due to heart stone reqs.

Not sure, but it IS unique in that he doesn't count as a summon. IOW, you can have up to three summons at once, now.

Im sure it does because one time, I had an odd amount of Health and [censored] like that, because the Gaulder Omlet had a Lasting Effect

Does the atronach stone effect ONLY summoned atronach's, or all the summing spells. Does anyone know?

Does that include both of the ash spells? There is the ash guardian and the ash spawn.

Thanks for the info. Next time I play I will have to see. I have never used the atronach stone, and I am thinking about using it, but I am not sure what effect it has on the conjuration spells. I understand from reading that they do not work.

Thanks again.

From the wizard's apprentice. He sells them all.
