IF you could have mods in ESO, which ones would you use?

Post » Sun Feb 17, 2013 7:43 am

Just a fun thread, mods will most likely never be in ESO but this thread isn't here to discuss that.

If you could use a mod which ones would you use?

Personally I go for the graphic enhancements, improved character models, need for food and water, and maybe some new weapons and armor if they look as if they belong.

I would just want some of the cosmetic mods I use in Skyrim, like better weather mods with lightning and stuff like that, the book mod where the ones you have not read yet glow so its easy to tell which ones you have not read yet, stuff like that...

graphics mostly, I don't really see how my computer could handle skyrim like graphics + 200 people though. In a MMO, I'm at least expecting UI mods, maybe a little more if they're generous. The modding community would be massive if they could actually show off their mods to other players online. I'm not at all expecting god mode mods or anything close, but armor and weapon retexs are 100% doable in a MMO, even if only you the player can see the retexture.

UI mod to get rid of ALL HUD elements completely, including any in-world elements like quest markers, attack icons or warning ground icons. That would be first and foremost.

Also, if I could, I'd do bEnableBorderRegions=0 in the ini so I could travel anywhere I like, bwahahaha!

I hope nobody says "faction lock removal mod" like last time and turns this into a faction thread :ahhh:

I'd use animation change mods, texture mods, race enhancing mods and hearthfire DLC

I love retextures! It would be awesome to be able to reskin armor, even if it was for our own character. I would like to see a system in which you could pick an item model, dup it and add your own texture. If there was only a way to do this and show them off to other players... like a private instance or something :)

I've been waiting for a MMO to allow us to draw our own guild icons.

I hope nobody says "faction lock removal mod" like last time and turns this into a faction thread :ahhh:
