Septim was not the first Dragonborn.

According to the Empire Alessia the Slave Queen was. But the Empire has been known to embellish such things. The "Book of the Dragonborn" implied she wasn't actually the first.

This DLC seems to show they were lying about Alessia.

No - Tiber Septim wasn't the first. This is seen because when he went to High Hrothghar they already had the ritual to name him the Dragonborn and Ysmir.

Alessia was the first RECORDED dragonborn. There've been more before her, most likely.

According to the trailer, "HE" was once one of the Dragon Priests, and showed the alter of the 8 Dragon Priests where the masks go.

In Skyrim, there is a quest that if you collect all 8 masks, you get a 9th one from the dragons mouth. This is "HE" the 9th one. HE is also the first Dragonborn plus he is a Dragon Priest. Dangerous combination.

You have to kill 8 dragon priests to get the 8 masks. Once placed on the proper alter figure, you get a 9th mask. The 9th mask belongs to a dragon priest, but you do not really know the name of the dragon priest, only the name of the mask, plus the 9th mask is the only mask you get without having to kill a dragon priest to get it.

So in theory, there were 9 dragon priests, one for each of the 9 holds, and you killed 8 of them. What and where is the 9th one?? Actually, WHO is the 9th one? Thee 1st Dragonborn.

9th dragonpriest is Konahrik, and yes you can find his mask in Labyrinth.

And this new dragonborn guy has his own mask, so he's not the 9th

solstheim is an unofficial territory of skyrim....im wondering how much we don't know about the place. is it considered a hold? a sanctuary? a territory? what is solstheim to skyrim?

how does the dragoncult relate to solstheim. i think im gonna go poke around some of the barrows in bloodmoon to see if there is anything...i doubt it, sounds like new lore :/
