Do you enjoy dual casting with Destruction spells?

Why do you like or not like - dual casting with Destruction spells?
Just asking because I'm bit 50\50 - about taking it as perk.

I just think it's nice to read what other have experienced and how they see things.
That's all.

I love becoming an AD gun (anti-dragon gun) using icicles, get a mage follower and it is like WWII all over again

I like it. Sometimes that first shot is important, so it's good to hit with more damage.

Too bad spells don't scale with level. Physical combat players with Smithing/Enchanting will ALWAYS out damage magic users. The game doesn't limit you on weapon improvement but does limit magic based damage output. Personally I don't use magic all that much but I think it's kinda unfair. Then again, the utility spells give you might make up for it for some people :unsure2:

Duel casting destruction with a few destruction potions is the way to go. Definitely worth the perk point. Max out illusion as a back up, and you can have some serious fun playing as a mage.

Yes. Firebolt, dual cast, does significant damage (esp. with that Illusion perk), with negligible magicka drain.

I rarely used dual-casting with my mage character. I found (on Adept) that I got along just fine with single casting.
